This month’s theme at Liga de Deportes was the Olympics! The kids learned all about the Olympic games and good sportsmanship and then took part in their own Olympic competition. Split into three groups, they competed in long jump, 25-meter sprint, and rythmic gymnastics. Then gold, silver, and bronze medals were handed out to each team based on, not just the best skill, but also the best teamwork and sportsmanship displayed during the games. It was a great time, and the kids had a blast!
