Last week, we said goodbye to our Director of Resource Development, Jamie Lynn Ensey. Jamie arrived in Chile in September of 2010, with the plan of working for six months as a full-time volunteer at Hogar San Francisco de Regis. At the end of those six months, Jamie decided to extend her stay with VE and take on the role of Director of Resource Development. She became an invaluable member of the office team, while still remaining a committed and energetic volunteer at San Francisco. Her work on the VE blog and in social media outlets has greatly improved VE’s presence on the internet. And thanks to Jamie, VE has applied for and received more grants than ever before in its history. We’re sad to see Jamie go, as she’s been such an important presence in the VE community for almost two years. We thank her for everything she’s done for our organization and wish her all the best in the future!
