In April, the January 2013 volunteer class began their fundraising campaign to help raise money for children at social risk in Santiago, Chile. They came up with the idea to film themselves dancing to the “Harlem Shake” in public areas around Santiago after their performance to the song was a success with the children at Festival de Arte earlier this month. In the video, which can be found on their FirstGiving donation site, the volunteers explain how important the children and work that we do at our partner organizations are to them. Then, they break out into fun moves on the metro, in a huge plaza, and in windows outside their apartment building. Through this inspiring and entertaining video, they aim to raise $7,500 USD, which will go toward funding the programs and workshops that we do to support the children that we serve. Please consider making a donation today and help us share the video to encourage others to give!
